Stop Talking About Constitutions

If a legislature is going to ignore the limits placed on it by its constitution, why shouldn’t individuals ignore limits placed on them by that legislature?

Ian is 100% correct. How many years (and still to this day) do people use the Constitution as an argument against gun control? Too many.

I consistently use the argument that it is our fundamental human right to self defense that is supposed to be protected by the 2nd Amendment; however, as Ian accurately points out, that Constitutionally protected right (as written) has been bastardized by men and women in black robes who make determinations based on their ‘interpretations’ of our ‘rights’ - the Oral Constitution.

The more people understand this, the better.
